Turkey’s first and only, World’s third Space Camp!

Space Camp Turkey is opening its doors for the participants of FIRST LEGO League Open International Turkey 2019. Better get ready for a magnificent space adventure!

On the 26th of May, between 13:00-14:00, a total of 100 children and young people will be joining an introductory tour at the camp for free of charge.


The details of the tour:

12.50 pm   Arrival to Space Camp Turkey / Program Orientation

1.00 pm – 2.00 pm Training Center Tour

Simulators and activities that students will observe during the tour:

  • Zero-G Wall (ZERO G)
  • 1/6th Micro Gravity Chair
  • Multi-Axis Trainer (MAT)
  • Space Station Mobility Trainer (SSMT)
  • Manned Maneuvering Unit (MMU)
  • 5 Degrees of Freedom (5DF) Chair
  • Discovery Space Shuttle, Mission Control Room, and Space Station Tour
  • Hydroponics Laboratory / Generation Mars Interactive Exhibit

As a space and science education center, Space Camp Turkey is primarily focused on motivating young people from around the world to pursue careers in science, math, and technology. Through interactive, space-related simulations, both youth and adults learn about communication, teamwork, and leadership in a dynamic, fun-filled environment. Space Camp Turkey offers both daily tours and accommodated programs which start from 2 days up to 7 days.

Education and entertainment center Space Camp Turkey, which was opened on June 12, 2000, has been visited by more than 250 thousand young people and adults from over 60 countries. The state-of-the-art facility offers an ideal environment where young people from different nations can come together to build long-term friendships and understand other cultures during the 6-Day Galactic Summer Camp programs.

The camp also offers customized programs for school groups that are looking for a unique space adventure. Students may have the opportunity to; be the pioneers of a sustainable life on Mars by creating 3D models of a Mars Colony through Minecraft’s Educational Edition, learn how to design and engineer a robot from the ground up during Robotics lessons, and have a blast using their imagination and creativity working with circuits via MaKeyMaKey activities.
